9/11 Day of Service - Sacred Pathways

Expired

Description

September 11th, 2001, is a day that forever changed our nation. As we remember the lives lost and the heroism displayed, we also honor the spirit of unity and service that emerged in the aftermath. This 9/11 Day of Service is your chance to be an active citizen, contributing to our community and keeping that spirit alive. Your participation not only honors the past but also builds a better future. Join us in making a difference.

Sacred Pathways is a nonprofit organization that supports the many needs of our community, mostly known for their Soup Kitchen.  Sacred Pathways is starting up their soup kitchen again after many years, and they are hoping to have a new face lift.

For this opportunity, students will be able to wipe down walls, tidy up the inside space, paint the walls, and help with outside cleaning as needed.  Sacred Pathways will provide refreshments for students volunteering during this opportunity.
