MLK Day of Service is a day during which we celebrate and reflect on MLK's legacy. As such, we want to encourage students to serve their communities and to foster conversations around social justice, civic engagement, and positive impact.
From 9am-12pm, we will be supporting Lumber River United Way in cleaning and organizing their storage space. Volunteers will be asked to wear a mask at all times. Details on transportation are forthcoming. On Saturday, student volunteers will be asked to sign in between 8-8:30am at the Community and Civic Engagement office. More details will be distributed to those that register.
