Join the CARE Resource Center with fighting hunger on UNCP campus.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday come volunteer with us and learn about the food recovery hierarchy.   

The CARE Resource Center prevent and divert waste food by collection from Walmart and other locations in the community. The items are evaluated for freshness and stocked on the shelves. The Center repurposes expired and aged food to local farmers to feed animals or to be used as compost on the farm.
