The Museum of the Southeast American Indian is looking for volunteers to assist with Lumbee Homecoming.  We will provide you with all of the training that is needed to help you be successful. We have scheduled so many wonderful opportunities this year that will help us continue to foster a growing relationship with our community.  We usually see an average of 1,500 visitors during the week of Lumbee Homecoming. If you have a love of learning and teaching, enjoy working with kids, like to make folks feel welcome, or are curious about engaging with our local community, please join us if only for a few hours.  Be a part of welcoming home our family and visitors from all over the country and share in the beauty of what is “Lumbee Homecoming”.

Community Concert- Free concert on Friday night, July 6th from 5-7 p.m.

We will be offering volunteer training sessions on June 19th at 2:00 p.m. and June 21st at 5:30 p.m.  If you cannot make either of those dates, please contact us and will arrange another time to meet with you.  There are so many of our alumni, faculty, staff and community people who have a real passion for our history and this is your opportunity to get involved here at the Museum and really take part in some great programming that will help educate our visitors.  Please consider sharing your talents with
