Welcome Tent Volunteer
Help us welcome new and returning students to campus! Welcome Tent Volunteers will serve as friendly and knowledgeable resources by assisting students, families, and guests with navigating campus, locating buildings, answering questions, and connecting them with campus resources.
Volunteers will provide excellent customer service, create a welcoming environment, and help ensure a smooth transition for students during Welcome Week activities. This is a great opportunity to meet new students, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact on the UNCP community.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greet students
- Provide directions and campus navigation assistance
- Answer general questions about campus resources and events
- Assist with distributing campus information and materials
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors
