Join the Office of Campus Engagement and Leadership for a Families "CAN" Challenge to fight hunger on campus and in our local community.
You can participate by donating nonperishable foods to Campus Engagement and Leadership that will be given to the UNCP CARE Resource Center. Donations will be accepted on Saturday at the Student Affairs tent in the tailgate zone.
You will receive one raffle ticket for every five items donated. You will be entered into a chance to win free UNC Pembroke merchandise!
Don’t have nonperishable foods? No problem! We accept monetary donations. $1 donated provides 9 meals to students, staff, faculty and our local community. For monetary donations, visit uncp.edu/give and choose the “Community and Civic Engagement–CARE Gifts” designation. We do not accept cash on site.
List of goods desired: Ramen, peanut butter, jelly, Chef Boyardee, Spaghetti O's, pasta noodles, pasta sauces, canned vegetables, fruit cups, snack bars, soups, canned tuna/chicken, packs of crackers and cereal.
