Who We Are
Located at the Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub Lilies of Hope Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) corporation, dedicated to helping elders and their families in our community. It is the Mission, duty, and purpose, of Lilies of Hope to provide services to the community as a charitable organization, offering education and resources, while providing relief to the elderly and their family caregivers. Lilies of Hope Inc. provides relief and defends the human and civil rights secured by the law, of the poor, the elderly, the distressed, and the under-privileged, by offering our services to the elders and their families who could otherwise not afford - it at no cost. Our goal is to secure their humanity by putting the well-being and dignity of seniors at the fore-front while lessening the financial and physical burden it can have on the family caregiver by offering free community resources available to all. These services are made possible through the selfless work of our volunteers, community fundraising, generous donors, and various government grants. Lilies of Hope Non-Profit Organization, was formed by business owners who wanted to make available their services to all elders and their families, not only those who could afford them. Through the gracious donations of Donors and Fundraising, Lilies of Hope Inc. is able to offer Respite Care, a short term, temporary relief to family caregivers that can last for a few hours, a day, or even a weekend to families in need.
What We Do
Caregiver Assistant Program Lilies of Hope Inc. Non-Profit provides services to family caregivers to enable their aging loved one to remain in the home for as long as is possible. These services include support groups, in home respite care, and educational and resource training. Compassionate and competent care professionals and volunteers help families and their loved ones learn how to live their best life possible, while being connected to resources in the community for all the times when life’s not at its best. Support Groups We offer support groups because the number one request from caregivers is that they want support from someone who, “can really understand because they’ve been there too.” Our support group offers just that- a safe place for caregivers, family, and friends of the elderly to share their experiences and develop a mutual support system. We also provide a place to exchange practical information on caregiving problems and workable solutions. All of our support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. Educational Training We educate clients, caregivers, and members of the community in order to maintain, and increase their personal independence as well as the independence of their loved ones. Twice a month, we offer a 60-minute presentation, on various topics centered around family caregiving and health practices. Presentation topics include: Self-Care Tips for Caregivers, Caregiving Techniques and Demonstrations, and How to Plan for Care at Home. We also offer information on other resources that are available. If you would like to volunteer, donate, or would like to know more about Lilies of Hope Inc.
