Who We Are
Through residential and community-based services, we work to create safe, loving homes for children and to stop the causes of abuse and neglect:
- foster care and therapeutic foster care
- adoption
- multipurpose and group homes
- in-home services with family preservation, reunification and counseling
- vocational education and scholarships
- outpatient mental health services
- day treatment and residential services for dually diagnosed teens
- early childhood services
- consultation and training
What We Do
At Methodist Home for Children, we are called to God’s work of changing lives. We work with children who’ve been through revolving short-term foster placements, who were born addicted to drugs, who’ve suffered abuse and neglect. We serve teenagers who are lost to themselves because of substance abuse, mental illness and learned behaviors. We help stabilize their families, when possible, and open kids' futures to new opportunities through higher-education grants and vocational training. Our commitment is for a lifetime. Your support makes this possible.
