The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina provides a broad range of services for enrolled Lumbee members.

Only tribes who maintain a legal relationship with the U.S. government through binding treaties, acts of Congress, executive orders, etc., are officially "recognized" by the federal government. The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina is the governing body of the Lumbee people. It is the policy of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina to provide a broad range of services for enrolled Lumbee members.
