PSRC - English Learners Program

The English Learners Program of the Public Schools of Robeson County is pleased to announce its partnership with the Office for Community and Civic Engagement of UNC Pembroke.  With the consistent effort of our educational stakeholders at Purnell Swett High School, we have been able to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of our newcomers. We have developed a weekly plan to assist a high school student in different learning settings, at home, at school, and at the UNCP campus. This experience has broadened our perspectives as educators, as parents, and as community members. Our expectation is to continue to collaborate with our content and EL HS teachers as well as supporting our newcomers in all the High-Schools in Robeson County.

English Learner needs assistance with their education, We need a student from UNC Pembroke that can consist of their education. Helping newcomers in the transition in their education is important because you can have a connection with the student because it can also benefit your success as a leader.
