Who We Are
Scotland Youth Development (SYD) connects young people to enriching academic, artistic, cultural, wellness and leadership experiences. We envision healthy, engaged and optimistic youth in Scotland County, North Carolina. SYD's aims to establish a vibrant, welcoming and safe community center that promotes positive youth development through life-enhancing programs and events.
What We Do
SYD offers youth and community programming. One of our annual community events is Holiday Cheer Lunch (HCL). Established in collaboration with Prime Ministry in 2017, HCL provides a free meal, fellowship and gifts to Scotland County, residents in need every December.
