What We Do
Angelo's Care Home, Inc. is family-owned and operated right here in Pembroke, NC. The story of Angelo's Care Home, Inc. begins with Angelo, the son of Owner/Director, Cindy Locklear. She wanted to know that, as an adult, her son would live in a comfortable home, surrounded by people he liked and who cared for him. Cindy wanted to be sure that the services Angelo received were of a high professional quality and that he would be challenged to become his best self. She wanted this within an environment that respected his individuality and dignity. As Cindy learned more about the profession and programs that provides such high quality care, she recognized a call to serve all the "Angelos" who want and need the same respectful care she wants for her son. The result was Angelo's Care Home, Inc. which opened in 2002.
