The College of Arts and Sciences is holding a STEMville event for 7thgrade students on Friday, March 23, 2018. We are partnering with them to hold a pre-event to get their attendees excited about STEMville and the upcoming Family STEAM Day! The stations will be located with the registration tables outside Old Main.
Volunteers are needed from 8:00 - 9:15 a.m. to conduct two exciting STEM activities with the students:
Survive the Quake - Students will participate in an engineering activity to design an earthquake-proof structure.
2. Snap Circuits - students will complete challenges involving electronic and electrical circuits.
All directions and materials will be provided!
