If you are interested in learning about this initiative and learning how to register your organizations members to vote. During this session, we will train you on how to register students in your organization and across campus to vote. All Individuals and groups that attend can use this opportunity can use it to count towards service hours as well.
Young people make up the largest and most diverse group of potential voters in this country, and when we vote, we have the power shape our communities and our future. We also know that part of the university's goal is to create engaged citizens that contribute to their community and state. So we all have a role to play to bring about this goal, which is why we are working to commit UNCP to 100% voter registration.
Long term we want our entire campus to get to 100% voter registration among its students. Within the year our goal is to have 30 organizations and departments to commit to 100% registration by Fall 2021 and 75 organizations and departments by Fall 2022.
