Opportunity: Pack snack bags for Hope Alive to give to Public School of Robeson County students
Community Action Day is a day for UNCP students to give back to their Pembroke community in a positive way.
All volunteers are required to show up at Community & Civic Engagement at 8:30 a.m. for check-in & then you will be dispersed to the opportunity that you have chosen at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
For this opportunity, you will:
- Pick a station and work with others to pack a snack into a ziploc bag for a public school student. The goal is to complete 400-500 snack bags!
- Every week this organization goes to local public schools in Robeson County to give out 500 of these snack bags to students who are in need. Your contribution will help make sure these students have food over the weekend.
*This opportunity will take place in the Student Center Mall (on-campus).
