Dr. Joey Bell ALS Walk 2026

UNC Pembroke is proud to partner with the Dr. Joey Bell ALS Walk at Grace P. Johnson Stadium, and we are currently seeking volunteers to help support this meaningful event. Volunteers will assist with event set-up and breakdown, participant and volunteer check-in, directing parking and pedestrian traffic, distributing water, organizing and distributing t-shirts, supporting the LLC/UNCP Serve outreach table and much more. This inaugural walk brings together campus and community members to raise awareness for ALS and support individuals and families impacted by the disease. We are looking for students, faculty, staff, and community members who are willing to serve with a positive attitude, step in where needed, and help create a welcoming and seamless experience for all attendees.
