Who We Are

Partners in Ministry is a United Methodist-affiliated 501(c)3 organization that works with the low-income communities of Scotland, Richmond, and Robeson Counties. We strive to transform lives and respond to the needs of the powerless and marginalized families in the Gateway District. Founded in 2007, we have grown exponentially in the past 11 years. We have plans to expand and build a new multipurpose building on our campus to offer even more programs than we currently can. We encourage children and youth to embrace their potential and grow their vision of their possible futures through engagement with STEM programming and curriculum, community service, on the job training, and counseling services.

What We Do

We offer a variety of programming for children, youth, and young adults from 3rd grade to age 24, as well as housing disaster relief and urgent repair services. We also operate a resource and referral center that hosts special events and classes (such as biannual free health screenings in which we partner with Scotland Health Care), a computer lab, summer camps, a community garden, a thrift store, and a weekly food pantry.
