Who We Are
Robeson County Church and Community Center is God's people at work together reaching out in love?to meet the?social needs of our neighbors across cultural, racial, class and denominational lines.
Our Free Choice Food Pantry enables adults to choose about four days' worth of food for their families. Nutritional guidelines are suggested and assistance is provided. We are a member of the Feeding America Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina. We also partner with Food Lion to receive dated but still good food to supplement our donated food.
What We Do
We are the oldest and largest faith based non profit emergency social assistance organization in Robeson County. We are God's people at work together reaching out in love to meet our neighbors' needs in the name of Christ. We operate a large food pantry with three food assistance programs. Provide emergency assistance with utilities, rent, and medicine. We build handicap ramps, perform small home repairs and install grab bars and other safety for equipment for seniors. We provide information & assistance for seniors and their caregivers, operate a durable medical equipment loan closet. We operate a Home Store thrift shop to assist those who cannot afford typical retail necessities, are burned out of their homes or are moving out of the Southeastern Family Violence Center facilities. Also those newly released from the hospital or prison.
