Odum Home in Pembroke provides residential care for school age boys and girls. Odum Home offers an environment in which a child and his/her family can bring problems, conflicts, and themselves into a partnership with staff and peers to find solutions.
Odum Home, once known as the Indian Orphanage, is unique within BCH’s family of facilities. Pembroke is known as the “Land of the Lumbee” and Odum Home maintains its connection to the rich traditions of the community. The facility serves a tri-racial composition serving BCH’s mission of “sharing hope...changing lives.”
